Raised in Valdosta, Georgia, I began my creative life started early—at four years old, seated at a piano bench next to my mother. From church choir to the marching band field to performing at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando, those early experiences shaped a lifelong connection to family entertainment and the energy of live performance.

After studying music and business at Stetson University, I moved to New York City and found my creative home at Macy’s Studios, a job that quickly evolved into a decades-long journey helping shape some of America’s most iconic live events. As show runner and producer of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, I spent over 20 years building and reimagining a beloved national tradition—overseeing everything from the casting and staging of thousands of performers to music production, celebrity booking and creative direction for one of television’s most-watched annual broadcasts. And every summer, I

The work extended far beyond Thanksgiving. Every July, I led the creative production and show development of Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks, America’s largest Independence Day celebration. I also pulled from my music roots composing and songwriting for Macy’s with music performed by artists ranging from Whoopi Goldberg and Matthew Broderick to Jane Krakowski and the cast of Sesame Street. In 2008, “I Believe,” performed by Kermit the Frog in the Thanksgiving Day Parade, earned a Daytime Emmy nomination and later debuted at Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops. Two years later, “Yes, Virginia (There Is a Santa Claus)” received the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Song. Over the years, my work has been recognized with nine Daytime Emmy nominations across Outstanding Original Song and Daytime Special categories.

Whether developing a song, producing a broadcast, or shaping a live audience experience, I’m drawn to projects that blend storytelling, music, and spectacle.
